Band Biography

Birds on Clouds are seven people that started playing together in the dark autumn 2011 with a setting of vocals, guitar, bass, piano, drums, violin, and flute/harmonica/xylophone. The band is based in Malmö, Sweden, playing dreamy indie pop music. The songs are original music with a melancholy moody touch. The music is about the will to change and hope for more love in the world. It is about losing yourself into something and dancing under the stars in a summer night that never ends.

“debut EP Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes is a dreamy indie pop delight full of gorgeous songs tinged with melancholy and woe”

What If is a lilting lament that floats like a fragile feather in a mild breeze. It’s bleak, emotional and totally, utterly, completely life affirming.

It’s the sound of hearts breaking, the sound of tears forming, the sound of souls shattering. It’s not the song to play at a party but it should be your go to track when you’re at your most reflective, when the weight of the world is getting you down and you need a moment to stop and take stock.”, The Devil Has The Best Tuna (UK)

Other mentions for example in Sydsvenskan (Swedish), Jammerzine (US), The Devil Has The Best Tuna (UK), an artist feature in Music Talks (AU), and an interview in Our Culture Mag (UK) and Oírmás Radio (Colombia).
